Palo Alto EcoCenter Celebrates the Shoreline With Children's Exhibit

On Saturday, March 15, 2014, the Palo Alto Environmental Volunteers hosted:  "We Are the Shoreline- A Community Art Celebration" at the EcoCenter at the Baylands Nature Preserve.

The Environmental Volunteers hosted a large Children's Art Exhibit, complete with awards and prizes.  The artwork was created by local elementary school children who were learning about the Baylands Nature Preserve.  Children from the Willow Oaks School, Costano School and the Brentwood Academy competed for First Place Awards and prizes along with Honorable Mention Ribbons.

I had the pleasure of attending the event as a participating artist and as Judge of the Children's Art Exhibit, awarding 3 First Place Ribbons and 9 Honorable Mention Awards to the children.  More than 250 guests, including children, parents, teachers and artists attended the celebration.
